Minyon Patton (affectionately known as Mickey) Akron, Ohio Native. Self–motivated, dynamic professional with diverse credentials, over 20years of experience in Construction. Grounded in Christ, with a spirit of advocacy and serving others. A member of Construction Management Association, National Society of Black Engineers and Society of Women Engineers.

Aside from her devotion to God she is extremely passionate about, listening and encouraging children (little people) as she calls them to be the best version of themselves. “Our children mean the world to us, but we don’t always remember to tell them so”. Her first published book “Who says I can’t be President? I can be anything! Was written to encourage children to Dream Big and Reach for the STARS! Her character is sweet, fun and intelligent.

When Minyon isn’t up writing or drawing late night, you can probably find her on a plane, a beach or hanging with her only grandson.
